SUMMARY:2026 MGHPCC power downtime June 15-18, 2026
DESCRIPTION:The yearly power downtime at our Holyoke data center, MGHPCC, has been scheduled by the facility. \nThis year's power downtime will take place June  15th - 18th, 2026. \nSince the facility will be powered down for two days this year, we will not be performing the usual maintenance tasks. \nThat said, networking and other key infrastructure will be doing maintenance.\nIMPORTANT NOTE: FASRC storage at both Holyoke and Boston will be affected and should not be expected to be available throughout the downtime. Please plan ahead accordingly.\n\nMonday June 15th -  Cluster and Storage power-down begins at 9AM\nTuesday June 16th - Power is out at MGHPCC\nWednesday June 17th - Power is out at MGHPCC\nThursday June 18th - Power-up begins. Expected return to full service by 5PM\nFriday June 19th - Please note that Friday June 19th is a university holiday.\n\n \n\n\nFollow progress during the downtime on our Status Page ( https://status.rc.fas.harvard.edu/ )\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n
