Research Software Engineer
Ben Sabath is a Scientific Software developer working with the Research Software Engineering team at FAS Research Computing (FASRC). He designs and builds applications that work with large datasets, handle GIS processing, and help acquire and transform external datasets for researcher use. Prior to joining FASRC, Ben worked as a data scientist within Francesca Dominici’s lab at the Harvard School of Public Health. He has also worked at IQSS and provided technical support for large database systems at Epic Software in Madison, WI.
Ben received his BA and MA in Economics from Boston University, where he also studied computer science.
In his free time, Ben enjoys running, cooking, playing board games, and annoying his two cats.
