John Noss

Research Computing Associate

John joined Research Computing in August of 2012. He previously worked as a Technical Support Engineer for HUIT/FAS IT, serving various areas across campus, including the physics department. He received his BA in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard College in 2006, and after graduating, worked at CERN as a Research Technician for the ATRAP anti-hydrogen trapping collaboration. At RC, John addresses client requests, supports instrument control machines, and assists with operational support for compute and storage systems. In his free time, John enjoys designing and building microelectronics and spending time outdoors.
