Research Computing Associate
Before joining Research Computing in February 2015, Wes worked as a Systems Engineer at Brigham and Women’s Channing Division of Network Medicine. There he and his colleagues implemented Cumulus, the first research cloud computing system at Partners Healthcare.
Prior to his work at Brigham and Women’s, Wes worked in Linux support at Tufts University and as a teaching assistant at his alma mater, The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), helping students develop educational games for the One Laptop Per Child project. Wes has a B.S. in Information Technology with a concentration in Applied Networking and Systems Administration from RIT.
In his free time Wes enjoys exploring the mountains of northern New England, scuba diving, skiing, traveling, and exploring Boston’s culinary underbelly.
