New hardware for module files

As you are well aware, module loads on Odyssey can take a noticeable amount of time. This is due to two things 1) network: most of the modules and software are local to the Boston data center for historical reasons and thus must be loaded across the network to the compute nodes in Holyoke and, 2.) storage: we currently use our large and reliable, but slow Isilon storage volume that also manage user home directories.

We are currently building a mirrored pair of servers, one for computers in Holyoke and one for computers in Boston that should dramatically reduce the amount of time required to find and load a module file and software. Tests indicate module load times should go from as long as 20s to less than 5s.
