FASRC: Data Review and Cleanup: Recommendations for Project Closeout
Engaging in data cleanup efforts to free up data storage space? Preparing to leave your research lab or institution? Closing out a project and readying data for publication?
Join FAS Research Computing’s Research Data Manager as they discuss ways to organize, prepare, store, and share research data following the end of a research project or in preparation for leaving the lab or university.
The training will highlight policies and procedures related to the offboarding of researchers and faculty, including data retention stipulations, recommendations for data organization and storage, tools to assist with data review and cleanup, and how to meet data sharing requirements from publishers and funders.
