Distributed GPU Computing (in-person)

Description: In-person training on distributed GPU computing covering topics such as, distributed PyTorch, NVIDIA NCCL single- and multi-node applications, using CUDA aware MPI applications, on FASRC clusters.

Note: This is an in-person session. It will not be available via Zoom and it will not be recorded.

Level: Intermediate/Advanced 

Time: 11:00 - 3:00 pm (Lunch and Beverages provided)

Location: NWL 353 (In-Person)

Who can attend this workshop: Anyone with an FASRC cluster account (requirement to participate in hands-on exercises)

What you will learn:

  • Distributed PyTorch
  • NVIDIA NCCL single- and multi-node applications
  • using CUDA aware MPI applications

Prerequisites:

  1. FASRC cluster account (if you don't have an account, see Request a FAS Research Computing Account)

  2. Shouldd have submitted batch job(s) on the FASRC cluster
